The short version

Q-Code collects as little information about you as possible. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you.

This site sets no tracking cookies at all.

What we collect

In the ordinary course of running this website, we handle:

• The name, email address and message you type into our contact form.
• Aggregate visit statistics — which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of device. This is counted without cookies and cannot be traced back to you.
• Standard server records created whenever anyone visits a website, such as the address of the page requested and the time.

Why we collect it

We use what you send through the contact form for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list.

We use visit statistics to understand which pages are useful, so we can improve them.

How long we keep it

Messages sent through the contact form are kept while they are relevant to our correspondence, and deleted when they are not. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and they process data only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and protects it from attack.
• Supabase — stores contact form messages, in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
• Resend — delivers our email replies to you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we use it.

You can reach us using the contact details on this site. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

This policy took effect on 2026-09-01. If we change it materially, we will change the date and, where the change affects you, say so on the site.
